About Yaoude University II 2017/2018

The University of Yaoundé II was founded on 19 January 1993 by Decree No. 93/026 and is located in the Soa district at 17 km from the center of Yaoundé. The Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences (FSJP) and the Faculty of Economics and Management (FSEG) are the two faculties which constitute it, which were formerly available at the University of Yaoundé I Ngoa-Ekéllé.

In addition, 03 major schools are attached to the University of Soa:

1. the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC)
2. the Higher School of Information and Communication Science and Technology (ESSTIC)   and
3. Institute for Training and Demographic Research ( IFORD ) : The premises of this institution are located at the University of Ngoa-Ekéllé.

Important note

In Cameroon , admission to the faculties is done on the basis of an examination of the file except for the faculties of medicine which fall under the regime of the grandes écoles and therefore requires a national competition to access them. The candidate’s dossier must present 03 choices of the course in order of preference. The pre-registration fee is 10,000 CFA francs. The actual admission of a candidate to a course is confirmed by the publication of the final lists.

Nationals  : 50,000 CFA francs

Foreigners  : Universities freely determine the amount, which amount may vary according to possible conventions between Cameroon and the student’s country of origin.

Professional Degrees: DEUP, Master Pro I and II . The amount varies according to the faculties, the course and / or the diploma: 200.000 F CFA up to 1.000.000 F CFA
